I was so disappointed when I didn’t get the chance to attend BlogHer ‘09 this year and missed NOT only meeting the wonderful friends from Mom Select  but also their bootylicious  Swag Suite Invite at the conference! Yet amidst my heartbreak, I thought it best to share it to mom friends online who would enjoy added treat at the conference than let this great opportunity sit in my inbox! So I did.

Fortunately for me, Mom Select graciously sent me a box of my very own swag after I told them I could not afford to go to the conference.  Call that good Karma! I was ecstatic that I was actually getting one. When my box arrived, it was filled with LOTS of goodies even my little girl could not contained her excitement. It was like Christmas in August!

Our  favorite among the great loot was the 081820095365Latitude with keyhole locators, Hyland’s Homeopathic Cold Medicine, Softlips Lip Balm, the Grippies and the matching Cultural Au Pair cards.

Why?

a) Latitude: There is no need to elaborate why Latitude made it to the list. It’s a guy thing and my hubby loved the fact that it’s got keyhole locators. Makes it easy for him to find the right spot where to punch a hole on the wall without leaving nasty hit & misses! I’ve got like bunch of display shelves that’s waiting for him to put up. Now he no longer have any excuse not to!  This tool is great just don’t let your 5 year old play with the sliding keyhole locators. Mine didn’t last for a minute and the thing was off.

b) Hyland’s Homeopathic Medicines for Kids (Cold Relief with Zinc, Cold n’ Cough, Teething Gel, Earache drops).  This is our favorite brand! I’ve used all of them since my little girl was born. We don’t trust any other brand than this especially with the Cold & Cough relief medications. They have helped my daughter through mild and bad colds for years. Now that the colder months are coming and she’s in school, I find relief in the fact that I have Hyland’s to save the day when she does come home and pick up all sort of cold germs from school! Though I’d rather she not!

c) Grippies : I love this concept and the fact that I can create bunch of grippy socks for my daughter who loves them and can wear them anytime. I mostly see them on winter slipper socks and baby socks. Now she can have them all season and not slip and fall every time she runs around the house like a mad kid! Don’t tell anyone but I do plan on using them on some of my socks too! I know it will be awesome.

d) Matching Cultural Au pair Cards : My girl is into cards these days. Crazy eights, Old maids and thankfully no poker yet. When she saw these cards she went wild! One is because they’re huge and she can pretty much hold them comfortably in her hands. It’s got great picture drawings & also educational. Needless, to say, we ended up playing match cards as soon as she saw them. The great part of it was she learned a thing or two about different countries and what they’re famous for while we played. I give these cards thumbs up for FUN!

e) Soft lips : You’re probably guessing you know why it made to my list. Well, you are wrong. It has nothing to do with me but my husband! See you didn’t see that coming, didn’t you? Well, he loves peppermint flavored lip balms! And this one is  just right for his taste. Not to say they’re organic! My hubby and I are organic freaks. Yes we are and proud of it too. So to make the story short, he’s got them all and enjoying it!

As for the rest of the loot, I’m sharing them to friends who could use them. I’m happy with what I got for myself and my family. Definitely a treat! Thanks to Mom Select and to all these wonderful companies who put the effort to share their cool products with me! Salamat.
