Site News: Comments

7 August 2009 by admin 416 views 2 Comments

We’ve noticed that even though we’re getting people reading our reviews, we’re not getting any comments! Maricris noticed that someone needed to signup for an account before they could comment. This was done to make sure that a real human was commenting and not a spam-bot.

I’ve loosened up the restrictions on commenting. Now anyone can comment as long as they have a name and email. I do have the akismet plugin installed, so hopefully there’ll be minimal spam. I was thinking of adding support for IntenseDebate or disqus. What do you think? What about support for Google Friend Connect or other user integration plugin?

In other site news: We’re in the process of adding pages about who we are, our review policy and ways to contact us. Depending on our schedules, they’ll be up soon … maybe!

Come on everybody, get commenting!
