10 Things You should do while visiting Epcot in Disneyworld

The Famous Epcot Landmark aka Golf ball?
With our recent trip to Epcot in Orlando Florida, I learned that being prepared and knowledgeable of the place of interest does makes a whole lot of difference in achieving a pleasurable vacation! Here are some things that may help you on your next trip to Disney based on my own personal experience.
1- Make sure to bring your own umbrellas and raincoat {unless “soaking wet” is your style}- summer isn’t all hot and dry in Florida. And the rain coats aren’t that cheap either. My mom paid $18 for hers & my daughters.
2- Bring lots of water to drink. You’ll need it with all the walking you’ll do. For a quick thirst-quencher, visit Innoventions West and try all the different Cola Flavors around the world. It’s Free.
3- Definitely try the Spaceship Earth ride and do the questionnaire at the end to determine your future and get yourself featured on the big screen and the globe in the lobby. It’s a blast! You can also email a copy of the video and the postcard to yourself.
4- Do not ride the ClamMobile @ Seas with Nemo & Friends. It is quite boring, but definitely see the Dolphin Exhibit in the view deck. The dolphins are so adorable! Then check out the rescued Manatees.
3- Boat ride at Living with the Land @ The Land was liberating especially if you have a green thumb. It’s a must-see. The dining options there too is the best one in the lot.
4- Other dining Options: If you want Mexican food, you’re better off eating off-park. The resto inside the Incan Pyramid in Mexico is not ONLY insanely expensive, the choices are so limited! Not good. You want fish? Go to norway. In china, opt for the little resto next to the big resto infront. It’s cheaper there.
5- When in Japan, check the Candy Lady’s show. She’s awesome! She transforms a ball of candy into magical beings right infront of your eyes. If you’re lucky, you can even get her creations for free. And if it’s not raining, make sure to catch the Taiko drum Show.
6- Morocco for a Mid-Eastern Flair. Food is yummy and get a little lesson on belly-dancing inside the marketplace. Accross the KidCot station. Ask for Souad. Then have a Photo op with Jasmine and Alladin. The line there is shorter. Make sure your kid really, really wants it or not fickle-minded like mine, or your photo op will look like this:

Alladin voted his self out of this picture but still didn’t help – squoosh!
7- Make sure you have a photopass! It’s worth it. And make sure to visit all the KidCot Station for more kid fun!
8- Get in line early @ Character Spot. Otherwise, you’ll end up wasting your precious time waiting in line just to get a few minutes to get your photo taken with the Disney Characters. Not worth it.
9- Ride the Maelstrom in Norway! Mild ride with big thrills. Very appropriate for young kids and seniors and to those who abhor wild roller coaster rides like me.
10- Know where the restrooms are located. You’ll never know when you’ll need to go. Not just once but several times! A map of the park can really come in handy. Make sure you have one all the time.
If you have any tips in making a vacation stress-free, or opinions of Disney and your visits, We’d love to hear them! Thank you.
